Southern Birding Services is an experienced provider of ecological assessment and monitoring services. We specialise in assessment and monitoring of freshwater ecosystems but also offer expertise in terrestrial ecosystems with internal and external resources. We adjust our methodologies to the needs of the client, their project and legislative requirements.

The outputs of our assessment and monitoring programs assist with conservation and resource planning and management, the design and placement of infrastructure, total project footprints, mitigation of risks, management planning, remediation plans, offset planning and the meeting of regulatory requirements.

We are experienced in undertaking a wide range of ecological assessments and monitoring, including environmental impact assessments, habitat assessments, bushland condition monitoring, wetland monitoring for adaptive management and many more.
